One night, a strong young farmer was walking and saw a glowing ball. He peeked over and saw a fox breathing what looked like fire. The fire was actually the elixir of life. The young farmer ducked down. When it came close, he engulfed it and took it. This angered the fox, but he did not dare attack the strong farmer. The farmer developed powers such as channeling spirits and making himself invisible. He made a great deal of money off of his newfound powers. At age fifty, he no longer exercised his powers. One night he fell asleep and awakened to someone patting his back. The ball of fire jumped out of his throat. The fox had taken it back. The fox said he went from poor to rich and it was the fox's turn to have his gift back after thirty years. I could create a story in which someone gets rich off of something they have stolen. I could make it OU themed as well.
